The Garage Film Project |
|
|
|
A few short months ago 88i decided to start getting
into films. Since then, we have gotten together
once a month to take turns acting, directing,
filming and managing a short movie. Each director has
a maximum of 20 minutes to shoot all of the footage
for their movie. After their 20 minutes is up
everyone takes on a new role, kind of like musical
chairs, and we film another one.
The cycle continues like this until everyone gets a
turn. At first we didn’t think we would do anything
with the footage other than review it for further
get-togethers. However, we decided to send it off to
a friend in Texas to see what he could do with his
magical editing skills. The final product is what we
call “The Garage Film Project”. These first videos
are now up on our website. Please, go, watch them,
show your friends, talk about them, and tell us what
you think. We hope you will enjoy our venture into
the world of movie making.
